Hoagie roll
Maple glazed ham (thin sliced)
Provolone cheese
White onion
Lettuce/mixed greens/spinach (any combination)
Tomato
Newman's Italian dressing
Parmesan cheese (shredded)
Frank's Red Hot Sauce
Optional Toppings: Banana peppers, mayonaise,...
Assemble mayo (if desired) onto hoagie roll along with provolone, ham, and banana peppers. Bake in oven at 350-400oC on a cookie sheet for several minutes, checking frequently. Remove from oven when edges of roll are golden brown and crispy. While baking, chop vegetables. Add cold vegetables to the toastie until almost overflowing. Pour on dressing (and use as dip, if desired), and add shredded parmesan. Garnish liberally with hot sauce, cut in half, and enjoy.
