McCall Wedding Cookies :: Practice Batch

 It's official, my sugar cookies are making their debut at the McCall Wedding this September as the wedding favor. After discussing very few details about the wedding with the bride, I decided to do a practice batch so that she could see some ideas, take them home to her fiance, and deliberate.

The McCall Wedding reception will take place at the Delaware Natural History Museum, which features two replicas of dinosaur bones. Because of the unique location, the bride had already expressed a preference for dinosaur-shaped cookies, and the wedding colors will be black, silver, and ivory.

I have put together a ribbon 'palate' featuring the wedding colors (below), and I attempted to execute some of my dinosaur decoration ideas. Most of which were an utter failure. The winner by a long-shot was my dino-skeletons, one for each that is on display at the museum.
